I am a certified Michigan elementary teacher of more than 18 years taking a break from the classroom. Families that hired me through Care are happy to be contacted for glowing reviews upon request. I have a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education, which focuses on the development of children 0-9 years-old. Whatever ages or stages your youngsters are in, I can adjust my approach and activities to meet their needs. If you have multiple children to care for, I am skilled at conflict resolution, so you come home to content Kiddos! I am also willing to help out with light housekeeping and homework. I can keep children engaged with board games, group games, crafts, dramatic play, building and construction play, songs, movement activities, mindfulness, and more. I am a non smoker, have reliable transportation, and am comfortable around pets. My infant and child CPR and First Aid certification was renewed March 10, 2023.
