About Stephanie

When I was a teenager I watched my mother care for my grandmother as she struggled with Alzheimer's. I was amazed by the patience and dedication my mother showed. For the past 3 years I have been working with elders in their homes to provide companionship, emotional support, healthy meals, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, exercise, transportation and whatever else is needed. My clients have appreciated my ability to ask questions about their lives, listen to stories and offer a space where their emotions, challenges and fears are all welcome. I have a background in Poetry Coaching, Childcare and have also done continuing education courses on Dementia Care and Developmental Psychology. I believe that more than anything every human being deserves to feel seen, heard, understood and loved. My hope it to help your loved one feel less alone and isolated during the last part of their life.
