My relevent experience for tutoring is primarily in mentoring and homeschooling my daughter and my high schoolers who are both enrolled in college in 9th & 11th grade. I moved my kids over the past two years into EOL Michigan programs. For my elementary daughter, I school of choiced her from Chippewa Valley Public School District elementary fully into Oxford Virtual Academy (we have done part and full time virtual homeschool). For my boys, they remained in traditional seated high school with 2 courses/semester replaced with 21F state credentialed online classes to gain college credit and exposure taking high school online in other county districts. I left my corporate life about 2 1/2 years ago to pursue more alternative education public paid options for kids. I am enrolled in Macomb Community Virtual College with my high school to ensure the online courses as adequate rigor and to be able to assist them more efficiently. I would love to teach, mentor or help other students learn!
