About Stefani

Now disabled from my career as a Prison Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I am a substitute teacher and am also looking for work as a tutor. (childcare, housekeeper, and pet sitter also) In college, I peer tutored and with my mom being a teacher at Midway Elementary, I often tutored children from her school. Later, I homeschooled my own child from 2nd to 6th grade. During my career in the prison systems I also filled in quite often teaching the GED prep classes as well as prepared adults for tests such as the GED, TABE, ASSET, and more. I'm trained and educated to understand different learning styles, methods of study and test taking. With my degree in psychology and experience in therapy I can help with many issues such as developmental delays, test anxiety, ADHD, and I began, but did not complete, training to specialize with Autism.
