Now disabled from my career as a Prison Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I am looking for additional jobs including senior care. I started professional senior care as a teenager after I graduated at 16. I was a live-in assistant then, 22 years ago. Since she has passed, I have cared for many others including patients with dementia, Huntington's disease, COPD, PTSD, and more. I am first aid and CPR trained as well as educated in the stages of aging and diseases of the mind. I can cook, clean, manage medication, and through my experience have gained knowledge in preparing for the worst. Due to my own losses and career experience I can also offer necessary help to the family during the hardest of times.
