I started as a caregiver when my father was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I am currently working for a 91-year-old man at night. He needs several medications during the night and repositioning. During the day I work with a woman that has muscular dystrophy. She needs trach care, suction, hoyer lift in and out of the wheelchair. My son is autistic so I am very familiar with the spectrum. Now that my son is in school I would really like to find a new dayshift job.
