In high school I was a mentor to younger at risk children, several with ADHD. I taught several years for preschool aged children aged 3. Many I assure you with ADHD. I've cared for several elderly clients with cognitive memory problems, private in home. And worked for the Andrew's Center, in a group home with elderly and adult clients all with many disabilities. I've raised 2 boys, one with autism and the other with Adhd, he's graduating this year with a full scholarship. My youngest brother is an epileptic and disabled. I taught Sunday school to the 9 and 10-year-olds, 2 had ADHD. I believe working with special needs individuals was a calling on my life from a young age. Everyone one of them blessed me, more than I could ever bless them. You see special sides to how vast God is. I feel more at ease, when I'm in their presence and my days feel like they mean something.
