I was involved with dog rescue organizations for over five years. I rescued three dogs and two cats and have given them a loving home. I also fostered one male 1. 5-year-old nearly feral mixed breed pup for over five months. He was then successfully matched with his forever family. I also have raised chickens and ducks over the past 10 years, as pets and egg-layers. I currently have 10 chickens. We consider all our pets as family.
