About Stacy

I have most recently been a nanny for my neighbor across the street. They have an adorable, smart & happy 21-month-old boy and 2-year-old golden retriever (older sister and the family's first child). I have been a nanny for them since he turned about 1-month-old. I am passionate about observing and contributing to the development of children. I am so fascinated by how children learn to exist in this world. I have contributed to helping him learn how to wave, walk & communicate. Because we all work so well together, I feel more like part of the family (an aunt). In fact, in October 2019, I traveled with the family for a week during their work/vacation. I am also a volunteer with Reading Partners. With this volunteer program I am paired with a third grader (8-year-old) to help her improve her reading skills. Although she has some attention problems, I have found ways to help her focus, pay attention and improve reading comprehension.
