This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
I've worked as a private duty caregiver, a caregiver in an assisted living facility, the Executive Director of a large assisted living facility, and as a regional trainer for Alzheimer's and Dementia caregivers. I have a Master's degree in Gerontology (aging). I cared for and lived with my grandparents, one with Alzheimer's, until they passed. Caring for the aging is my passion! Dementia clients are my specialty. I'd love to make your life easier. I'm seeking a part-time companion care opportunity - doc appts, errands, light housekeeping, meal prep, well-checks or companionship. Hobbies include gardening, quilting and cooking. My ideal client needs occasional, or 1x a week assistance. I'm open to short term respite care (overnights) for trips, etc. I'm professional, flexible and easy-going, but a stickler for safety. Strong work ethic, honest and dependable. Work environment and client must be smoke free. I have a flexible schedule, so don't hesitate to ask if there is a need.
