About Stacie

I am a registered nurse with a master's degree in early childhood education and years of experience as a nanny, preschool teacher, and high school teacher. I used to work as an elementary school nurse, maternal/child health nurse, and a pediatric nurse in the hospital. I am looking to return to direct child care as I pursue my doctorate in early childhood education. I love the innocence, wonder and joy of children. I find them so much more interesting and entertaining than adults. I love to help them develop and express their individual creativity and personality. I have done extensive volunteering in Latin America and I love to share my passion for Spanish language and culture. I love music, arts and crafts, dancing, outdoor activities, swimming, laughing and enjoying life. I am currently a mom to a 2 yo and a 10-month-old.
