About Stacie

I left Corporate America several years ago to become a full-time care giver to my aging father in-law... as his care giver I would take him to all appointments such as doctor, dentist, eye doctor. I would regularly do the shopping, cleaning, laundry and meal prep and on occasion he would let me win at Cribbage. He loved to make a weekly trip to the library to pick out books I could read aloud to him or books on CD. Our favorite outings were for coffee, lunch, or dinner as well as people watching while we waited at his miscellaneous appointments. A large part of my days were just spent as his companion. I found that this was my favorite part of the job. Since his passing I've had the opportunity to do the same with three other elderly couples as well as another gentleman. Its quite rewarding and over time they've simply become an extension of my family circle.
