Hi, I'm Stacey. I've worked with children for over 3 years, starting at the YMCA teaching swim lessons and as a K-8 substitute teacher. I'm comfortable with all ages, but I especially enjoy working with school-age kids. I play the ukulele and piano, and have experience in choir, dance, and band. I'm also athletic, having coached swim and volleyball. My approach is playful but structured, and I'm a strong communicator with lots of patience. I'm CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, and YMCA Swim Lessons certified and studying to be a paraprofessional. I can tutor in English, Social Studies, and Science, and teach music basics. I've also worked with children with emotional, physical, and behavioral needs. I'm open to full-time or part-time positions, preferring morning to afternoon hours. I'm flexible on live-in or live-out options. I love working with kids because I enjoy helping them grow into their best selves.
