About Stacey

For over 35 years I taught children ages 18 months-18 years the beautiful art of Ballet. While dance has been my main area of focus I am a gifted teacher for children. Seeing how to break down the steps to learn anything is a talent that comes to me naturally. It's hard to explain how I can so easily see how to teach a child step by step to accomplish any task but I can. My teaching style always includes music, movement and play. I feel children learn best when they play games, do process based art, go on outings, experiment and are having fun. I love learning on the go. Exploring the dinosaur museum, looking for letters at the grocery store, playing at the park, walking on a trail through the mountains are all natural ways to learn and grow. Planning outings and organizing fun filled days bring me joy and happiness, especially when I see the little people I love experiencing that joy with me.
