We had the pleasure of having Stacey take care of both of my parents at the same time. My dad was 90 years old, and my mother was 89. Stacey first began by doing medication management, light housekeeping, and the scheduling and escorting to and from all appointments. She also did the grocery shopping as well as the running of many misc. errands, including taking them to church. This was on top of giving my mom emotional support, and trying to keep her mind active with craft activities and just companionship. As both began to fail in health, both physically and mentally, her job responsibilities changed drastically. My mother's dementia worsened to full blown Alzheimer's. My father became more physically weak. With very loving care, Stacey became the sole caretaker of my parents, as we lived out of the city and worked full time. Stacey's responsibilities then included helping with all hygiene concerns, doing laundry, and some meal preparation. Stacey always treated my parents with the utmost tenderness, and respect. She kept my father's moods up with humor and kindness. I would recommend Stacey for any job, she will rise to the challenge, no matter what you ask her to do. Her devotion to them, enabled us to keep them in their own home for much longer than would have been possible, without such care. Stacey started in the summer of 2012 and she continued with them until we finally had to put my mom and dad in a memory care/Assisted Living facility in May of 2014. Only the severe downfall of my mother's mental/medical state, and all that goes with Alzheimer's, caused us to make the move. It was very emotional for my father as Stacey had become a part of the family with her loving care and ways. I am very comfortable having Stacey give my contact information to anyone that would like more information about Stacey or any details. Consider Stacey if you want someone that will care for your loved ones, as her own.
