I have worked with dementia and alzheimers patients in many settings over my 23 years. I did homecare, assisted living, memorycare units, private duty and family care. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have worked with all stages of dimentia and feel very comfortable with the behaviors that accompany it. I am energetic, love to keep clients active and engaged. I have no problem with meal pre, cleaning. Personal care or medications. I like to get to know the clients background so I can understand the way they process and engage. I have cared for multiple family members with dementia and it is why I care so much for this kind of care.
