About Stacey

I graduated in 2013 with my associates in Early childhood Education. I'm CPR and safe sleep certified. I have worked in infant/toddler classrooms for 6 years. Each infant followed their individual schedule while I built secure attachments through caretaking routines. I sang songs and read books all through the day. I provided supervised tummy time multiple times a day for how long they tolerated it. Once they became a little older I introduced them to different art supplies and also various sensory materials while they were fully supervised. We spent as much time outside as possible. The toddlers followed a flexible schedule. Children regularly participated in sensory and art activities, gross motor and fine motor activities, music and movement, and story time. I slowly worked to get them used to a single nap time. I worked with 2-year-olds for almost 4 years. Our day was more structured than in the toddler rooms and concepts such as shapes and colors were introduced through play.
