I then worked in a local daycare center for one year before moving to a private nanny position. I have recently gone back to school to obtain my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in first aid and CPR. I also have training in teaching children of ages 6 and under. I personally am happy to fulfill all childcare responsibilities such as: playtime, mealtimes, napping, and learning. I also love doing arts & crafts. I have known Spencer for almost 7 years; 5 of which she was employed as our nanny. She is reliable, dedicated, and committed to the children she works with. Her ability to juggle the task of caring for the whole child while engaging them in fun activities and maintaining structure and discipline is goal worthy. Spencer has supported and contributed to our family without hesitation the entire time we have known her. When Spencer first began working with us she was responsible for the care of our 4 month old twins. As our children grew, Spencer continued to challenge our children and help them explore the world around them through outdoor play, sensory bins, books and corresponding activities, and art projects. They excelled at pretend play and building. When we welcomed our third child, Spencer was excited to accept the challenge of a new baby while balancing the twins busy lives. She did so seamlessly. Thanks to her dedication and love our children are thriving in school.
