About Sophya

Hi, I'm Sophya! I am a junior at UIUC and am on the pre PA track! I have countless experience as a caregiver and have previously spent 5 months as a live-in for a 95-year-old woman recovering from surgery. As a compassionate caregiver for seniors, my primary goal is to foster a sense of dignity and independence in those I assist. I understand the challenges that come with aging and strive to create a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable and respected. My approach is centered on providing the necessary help while ensuring that seniors can maintain their autonomy and personal choices. I believe that every individual deserves to feel empowered, and I am dedicated to making their lives as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. Not only will I be a caregiver, but I will also be a friend!
