About Sophie

Hi there! I've spent the last 12 years working with children in various settings, including babysitting, working as a Registered Behavior Technician with children diagnosed with autism, and now as a School Counseling intern as I complete graduate school in Social Work. My ultimate career goal is to become a Child Therapist, but in the meantime, I miss the day-to-day silliness and joy of being around kids at play! I'm patient, calm, kind, imaginative, and friendly. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead and communicate with them about their child's day using their preferred method. I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children at a time, and I enjoy playing all sorts of games with them, especially outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I'm CPR-trained and have taken coursework in early childhood development. I hope to hear from you soon!
