About Sophie

My name is Sophie and soon I am headed to UC Irvine for a psychology post-baccalaureate program after completing my Bachelors degree at Boston University. I will be working in a lab studying what has always been my passion--child development, particularly academic development. While I've never been a full-time nanny, I worked full-time in the summers in high school as a babysitter, sticking with one family at a time and doing things such as summer activities, running errands, and just playing around the house. I have a younger brother and sister as well as 10 cousins under 10 years old, so I have lots of experience with young children with varying needs and expectations. I pride myself on being fun-loving but responsible. I love to play and rarely get overwhelmed by chaos. Because I'm new to the area I'm looking to explore.
