About Sophie

Hi, my name is Sophie! I am 23 years old and a recent Bioengineering graduate from the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently working with the NICU at Penn Hospital as a scientist. My favorite age group to care for is infants, but I have experience working with children of all ages. I am looking to supplement my current work with childcare, as I have been tutoring and caring for children my whole life and miss it. My rates start at $20/hour. I have worked with three families and helped create early childhood programs focusing on development for infants and children. I have access to a car and specialized in neuroscience in children during my time at Penn. (Fun fact: I am also a graduate of 9 years of Montessori school!) My focus is on creating a safe environment for your child while encouraging playtime and activities that promote growth and thriving development. In my free time, I love to cook, play tennis, and read nonfiction. I really look forward to meeting you!
