About Sophie

I'm a Virginia Tech alum and current JMU graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology. I've had 10 years of experience working with children. I'm currently looking for part-time babysitting jobs that fit in with my graduate school schedule! For two summers, I was a full-time nanny to the sweetest boys (ages 3-6 months and 2 in 2019, 1 and 3 in 2020). For the summer of 2021, I was a part-time nanny to a sweet little girl who had just turned 1. For the summer of 2022, I was a part-time babysitter for multiple families. While nannying, I was responsible for preparing food, creating educational learning activities, ensuring the children's safety, and completing a daily nap routine. I have also worked with children with autism and speech/language delays. In addition to this experience, I volunteered with the program College Mentors for Kids at Virginia Tech for two years.
