About Sophie

Hi! My name is Sophie and I'm a recent graduate from UVM with a BS in Dietetics. I start graduate school at UNH this fall and would like to babysit as much as I can this summer up until then! I have always had a passion for childcare, and have been babysitting and nannying since I was 12 years old. In the past, I worked with children as a co-coach for a middle school cross country team. Two years ago, I interned for Farm to School Program, traveling to different elementary schools and teaching the importance of culinary skills and nutrition. I was also a mentor for three years, is a program that uses after school activities, village mentoring, and one-on-one mentoring in order to close the opportunity gap in low-income communities. I am energetic, and love playing games, doing crafts, or going outside when babysitting. I am also responsible and organized and my goal is to create an equally fun and safe environment when I'm babysitting!
