About Sophie

Hi, I'm Sophie! I have five years of experience caring for children above the age of one and am certified in First Aid and CPR. I'm a certified teacher with a degree in music education; after college I spent two years teaching ESL to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders in South Korea. I am also fully bilingual (English and Korean). I also have four years of camp counseling experience, one of which as a manager. When it comes to child care, my years in camp counseling taught me that while it's important to have fun, safety comes first! Expectations are key and whichever update style you'd prefer (regular text updates, written reports, etc) is what I'll follow. I'd love to help your kids with their homework and can also provide music lessons! I can comfortably care for up to five children at a time and am experienced with all age groups from early childhood to teenagers. I'm also totally comfortable with completing any and all household tasks.
