About Sophia

Hello! I'm Sophie, and I love working with kids! I worked as a nanny all through college, and worked as a substitute teacher for a year after graduating. I switched gears to be a farmer in upstate New York for a year, and now I'm back in Greensboro until February 10th, when I'll start a new job in Vermont. I'm hoping to pull in some supplemental income in this month and half without a steady job, and would love to do that while doing my favorite thing (supporting families). Most of my nannying experience has been with infants, but through substitute teaching I've learned how to adapt to the needs of all ages. In my spare time, I like to dance, cook yummy food, make art, read, knit, garden, and practice yoga! My skills include sensitivity to the needs of children and parents, multi-tasking, and patience.
