About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I recently moved back to Portland and I am looking for a part-time nanny position. For the past 12 years, I have regularly worked as a nanny or babysitter caring for children aged six months to 12 years old. As a nanny, I organized daily activities and facilitated creative play while ensuring children's safety. This year, I lived in New Zealand and was a live-in nanny for four different families as I traveled the country. My responsibilities included helping with the children's daily needs, after-school activities, and homework. Additionally, I gained valuable classroom experience working as an aide for the Smith College Campus School, where I supported kindergarten, first, and second-grade classrooms. I provided one-on-one assistance to kids who were struggling socially or academically, coordinated group games, and supervised recess.
