About Sophia

Hi there, my name is Sophia and I'm an energetic and creative 19-year-old! I fell into childcare five years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $18/hour for one child. I have worked for 3 families, one for two years, and the others for 18 months each. I have my own car, and have taken online courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy dishes, paint/ draw and spend quality with my family and friends.
