About Sophia

Hi! I'm Sophia, I am a musician and a student at Santa Barbara City College! I have 1 year of experience as a nanny to a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old and about three years of experience as a counselor at a summer camp looking after kids between the ages of 4 and 14. I have always loved working with kids, but I realized what a special opportunity it is to teach and get to know young minds during my gap year as a nanny! I love to do crafts such as making friendship bracelets or painting, playing games, and, as I mentioned, I am a musician and I would love to explore whatever musical interest your child expresses! I am comfortable working with children of all age ranges and I am happy to help with some tasks around the house, whether that be light housekeeping, cooking, or carpooling. I would say that my strong suits as a caregiver are that I am responsible, care deeply about the well-being of every child I look after, I am creative, and I keep things fun!
