About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophie, and I am a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Psychology. I am heading back to school this fall to become a therapist after 1. 5 wonderful years as the education program coordinator at a local nonprofit, and I'm seeking a part time nannying position on my days off from school. I have school on Thursdays, and so I am looking to shape my schedule around that. I have been babysitting and nannying since I was 9 years old, and I have watched all ages. My work experience throughout the years reflects my passion for working with children, and dedication to learning how to be the best I can be in childcare. I enjoy getting outdoors, arts and crafts, and teaching children through fun activities. I have experience in positive guidance techniques, and I provide a nurturing, safe environment where children are free to be themselves while under supportive supervision! I am also certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, as well as First Aid and CPR!
