About Sophia

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, attentive and caring. I like working with kids because I love to see them grow into their personalities as they interact with the world around them. I started working with kids when I was young I was the neighborhood babysitter, and often cared for younger sibling in my family. Now as a mother I am enjoying all of the time I get to spend with my young children. I also like to participate in childcare at the various churches I have attended. My children are boys 2&3, who love to meet new people, and they are with me when I work. In my spare time, I like to spend time in the sun, read, and cook healthy meals. One thing you should know about me is that I take the approach of letting the child lead in their natural interests, I see my role is to provide a bit of structure and guidance as they get to enjoy their childhood and explore the world around them. I like to take advantage of all of the small learning moments that life naturally provides.
