Sophia cared for D for 9 months starting at his 18 month. Sophia has a gift for using her actor and artistic background in a playful way that is appropriate for a toddler, which benefited our D's language development. We speak another language, so when our son started with Sophia he didn't know any English words, and being 18 month old wasn't very verbal to begin with. For the next 9 months, Sophia was the only person who spoke to our son in English. But by the end, when our son entered daycare, he understood English and could speak it at the level of other kids his age. This was due to Sophia's work with our son. She would sing to him and recite Shakespeare daily while they were out and about, and read books to him while he was falling asleep. Our son often took hours to fall asleep and was easily distracted while eating, but Sophia took these difficulties in stride, with patience and grace. We can't imagine having a better experience than with Sophia. Highly recommend her to you!
