About Sophia

Hi my name is Sophia and I am a sophomore at DePaul University and just moved to Chicago. I have 6 years of paid childcare experience under my belt. I started working at a Sunday School and then began babysitting for some families and I grew to love it so much. I then went on to work at a summer camp with kids ages 4 - 14 where I learned a lot of games and arts and crafts to do with children. Last summer I worked at an outdoor camp with kids ages 9 - 14 and supervised my own cabin of campers. I love coloring and reading with kids as well as playing games and making sure everyone gets some good outdoor time! People have always noticed that I light up around children and they always bring out the best in me. I want to create a safe space where kids can be themselves and feel like they have a friend in me while still maintaining a level of respect. I am willing to provide references and would love to be a babysitter for your children.
