About Sophia

My name is Sophia, and I am a student at Fordham University. I am studying political science and hope to one day become a lawyer; however, in the meantime, I am looking for work that I enjoy to help me pay for college and achieve my goals. I have a lot of experience in child care, and I enjoy working with children. I started working with kids at a very young age. As an oldest sibling with many younger cousins, I was a built-in babysitter for my family. I started paid babysitting by the age of 13 and tutoring by 14. I have babysat and tutored for two families for about four years. I enjoyed babysitting these families over a long period because it helped foster a strong, trusting relationship between them and me. I also worked as the manager at a Virtual Reality arcade where most customers were under 15. I was tasked with hosting many children's birthday parties at this job, where I kept the children entertained and fed and the parents happy!
