About Sophia

Hi, my name is Sophia and I a looking for families to connect with! I am currently working as a vet tech in Somerville. A little bit about me, I grew up in Newton and graduated from NNHS in 2016. I studied Elementary Education for a few years in Vermont but then changed my major to animal science studies. Unfortunately, my school closed indefinitely due to COVID so now I am working full time at a vet clinic. With all that being said, my love for working with children has not changed. In my free time I teach children's yoga, spend time with family, and also love spending time outdoors. In the past I've worked for the YMCA as a camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim instructor. I also worked as a preschool teacher's assistant while living and studying in VT. I have training in CPR and First Aid, I know some sign language, and I have my own way of transportation. I have reliable references and 8+ years of paid experience. I'm reliable, hard working, and creative.
