About Sophia

Hello, my name is Sophie. I am a thoughtful person who values open communication. I am currently enrolled at PSU (remotely) studying Conflict Resolution. I feel that the knowledge I have gained from my field of study has helped me in all of my relationships but could especially help when caring for children. I enjoy spending time outside and going on walks and bike rides. I am interested in reading and writing poetry in my free time. I have experience watching children of various age groups. My recent jobs have been in food service (cooking and baking) but have been recently laid off due to COVID-19. I'm confident in my ability to cook for your family if that is a needed or desired. I respect all family dynamics and teaching styles. I've always loved working with children and am inspired by their imaginations and playful nature. It takes the collective to care for children and I would be honored to take part in that again.
