Hello! I am a third-year Honors student majoring in Political Science at Cal Poly. I am a kind and upbeat childcare provider with a passion for fostering growth and confidence in children. I have over 9 years of childcare experience, starting as a nanny and transitioning to a teacher for middle schoolers. I also have an extensive background as an Inclusion Counselor for Camp Tawonga, a sleep away camp in Yosemite. I focus on the care of neurodivergent children and children with disabilities. I specifically work one-on-one with children to ensure every camper's needs are met. I am responsible for the care of 12 children per session, totaling over 60 children per summer I work. I work to ensure physical and emotional well-being and support children in developing positive self-esteem and confidence in nature by leading them on 1-2 night long backpacking trips through Yosemite. I also run a small business located in SLO, called Beanie Bugs. I crochet beanies and can teach your child!
