About Sophia

Hi there! I'm Sophia, 31-year-old nanny and postpartum doula in training; nature lover, animal enthusiast, and gardener. I've been working with infants and children for the past 15 years and absolutely love this important and rewarding work. I strive to create a safe space for babies/children to engage in imaginary play, structured activities, outdoor exploration, and fun, educational experiences/excursions based on age and developmental stages. I also put an emphasis on helping children create and maintain healthy boundaries, use calm and confident communication, active listening, patience and problem solving. I enjoy using art and music as a means of encouraging self-expression and creativity. I have experience working with up to three children at a time, nanny share, meal preparation, nap/bedtime routine, potty training, overnight care, traveling with family, pet/house sitting, and postpartum support. I will maintain a clean environment by keeping up with household chores.
