About Sophia

Hello! I moved to Brooklyn a little over a year ago to pursue freelance dance. I have since decided to return to school. I am in the process of transferring to Hunter College where I plan to major in English and minor in Philosophy. I have many years of experience as a babysitter, ranging from infants to elementary school-aged children. I deeply value creativity, gratitude, respect for all people, open-mindedness, and compassion. Reflecting on my past experiences, I would describe myself as an engaged caretaker. I have no problem making "slime", in fact, I even enjoy it! I much prefer activities, homegrown performances, baking and the like to screen time. Valuing such teachings in my own upbringing, I will not shy from asking children to clean up after themselves, or behave in a thoughtful/respectful manner. On the whole, I am an easygoing person with a sunny disposition! I look forward to meeting you.
