About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia and here is a bit of information about me: I currently have 10+ years of childcare experience working with children from all ages (babies, toddlers, kids, teens) as I worked as a nanny while obtaining my undergraduate degree and started babysitting in my teens. Of those 10 years, I have 3 years of experience working as a private nanny. I also have experience caring for multiple children in daycare settings and at a Montessori school where I was an assistant teacher. In 2022 I got my BA in Psychology at Trinity University. While there, I elected to take classes focused on children and families such as childhood development. I also worked in a children's research lab that studied language development in children ages 2 to 4. My goal as a nanny is always to eliminate stress and anxiety for parents by prioritizing the safety and well-being of their child. I do this by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the kids in my care.
