Hello! My Name is Sophia. I was born and raised on Whidbey Island, and now reside in Seattle. I love gardening, arts and crafts of all kind, animals, baking, and playing and listening to music! Some activities I like to regularly incorporate into the day with kids are reading, creative play, and plenty of outside time exploring nature. It amazes me how much I constantly learn from the children I have worked with, and it is refreshing to spend the day with bright, growing, curious minds. I have about 9 years of experience ranging in ages from newborn to pre-teen. The bulk of my experience has been with ages 6 months - 5 years old. I also have experience with potty training, preparing meals, animal care, and doing light house cleaning/organization. I take a calm and gentle approach to nannying, but also know when its time to jump around and be silly. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

We are so fortunate to have found Sophia. My daughter adores her! Sophia has such a calming presence and is also extremely patient, playful and imaginative. As I am currently working from home in a separate space in our house, I can hear the giggles and laughter while Sophia is with my daughter. They make forts together, play "freeze dance", paint, have living room picnics, and go on outings together daily. I'm at ease going off to work for the day because I know my little girl is in good, loving hands and will have a full and fun day!
