About Sophia

Hi there! I'm Sophie, an experienced early childhood teacher and nanny. I've been nannying professionally for over three years and have worked as a kindergarten co-teacher for about a year. Additionally, I am in my final semester of my Early Childhood Studies degree. As I'm a teacher, I'm looking for a summer position where I can support a family short-term. Looking in the San Diego area as I will be staying with family there over the summer. I have always loved working with kids and being a part of their journey, and it's been such a dream to make it my fulltime career. I now have 9 nanny kids with which I share such a special relationship, not to mention all the kiddos I've worked with in the classroom. I'm a very outdoorsy and crafty person, something I live to incorporate into my work with kids, and live the Nordic and Montessori approaches to childcare. Additionally, I have a lot of experience with Dual Language Learners, along with some experience in special education.
