I am a true animal lover and grew up around animals of all kinds. I temporarily worked at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand and have on and off volunteered for various animal shelters, including a feral cat rescue organization on the Big Island, Hawaii. My family has had dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, frogs. . . you name it. I have two cats of my own now, Nala and Buggy, living with me here in Waikiki. Animal care, rehabilitation, and nourishment is a lifelong passion of mine, and something I hope to carry into my professional career, whether that be formally or informally.
