About Sophia

Hi I'm Sophey! I'm a double major at West Virginia University studying Forensic Examining and Psychology to peruse a career in law. I have been a youth assistant soccer coach (for the age groups of 3 to 12) for three years for Marion County Soccer Association. Previously this summer, I have also worked for the MCPARC Program in Fairmont Wv for their summer day camp program (for ages 6 to 15). I've learned through the years of working with children, as well as my own younger family members, there is importance incorporating learning into play through different Montessori techniques, exciting games, special interest of the child and creative crafts. As well as someone who has experienced chronic illness and worked with children with special needs, I don't shy away from them and make sure I am always prepared for their best interest!
