About Sophia

I have worked in childcare for about 3 years now & loved every moment of it. My experience includes an in-home daycare, private nanny/babysitting jobs, and a daycare chain. Most of my experience is with infants, however I have cared for children across the board. I also just recently became a mama in January to a beautiful baby girl & am absolutely in love! I have loved working with kids - even on the hard days - and being able to help/watch them grow into their awesome selves. I tend to have a calm approach with the kiddos and try to let them build some independence in the everyday things we do. I love doing activities, & getting outside, especially during the summer! I am CPR + First-Aid certified. I have my Food Handler's Card & all of my vaccinations are up to date. I also am currently enrolled in the OR/WA Background Registry & have completed numerous courses online, one of which includes Safe Sleep!
