I grew up as a teenager on a dairy (cow) farm in the NE. Fast forward to now as semi-city liver I still try to incorporate the bond between an animal to human with my children so they know that part of love & compassion. I am very compassionate with animals. In my home we have different species of pets, both the cats & dogs came from local shelters. My outdoor pond has both Koi & goldfish. My bearded dragon sadly passed a couple years ago at the age of 14 and my life long companion dog that turned 17 passed a few months ago (he too came from the shelter at the age of 1 year). My chickens are well loved and handled on a daily basis. My experience with animals is more than what is listed above. Rabbits, snakes & birds are a few others that I personally have experience with.
