About Sonnya

Hi!! I'm a grad with a BS in Psychology, I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I believe in clear and open communication with parents, providing regular updates via their preferred method. I have experience working with elementary age children in a classroom, working through emotional disturbances and other delays. I am currently applying to graduate schools for a PsyD! I'm comfortable enforcing household rules by following the parents' lead, ensuring consistency and a nurturing environment. I enjoy playing outdoor, board games, educational or video games. I hold current First Aid Training and CPR Training, along with coursework in Early Child Development. I was also a swim instructor for young children. I can assist with carpooling, light housekeeping, some meal prep, laundry, etc. I speak both English and Spanish. Some ASL love pets!!
