I'd describe my personality as caring, empathetic fun. I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be cared for and I would hope someone would care enough to extend that grace to me one day. I'm looking for a job that offers me flexibility and the satisfaction of making a difference in the life of an elder. I started caring for seniors when my father had a sudden stroke in 1993. I recently lost my mother. I worked for a home care agency after I retired from the government in 2020. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, travel, shop for antiques, refinish and build furniture, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I have a wonderful sense of humor, but I'm very serious when it matters. My skills include dementia care, gait belt, bathing (bed and shower)
