I currently work for an environmental education non profit, but have spent most of my life catering to children. I hold teaching certification in New York and Florida for Elementary Education as well as Exceptional Education. I also have Floridian Certification in middle school science. I currently hold certification as a wilderness first responder. This course allowed me to do a 10 day training in which I became certified in first aid, CPR, AED, and received training to administer epinephrine. Growing up the second oldest in a family with 7 children, helping with children is almost second nature. I have worked at numerous summer camps, as a youth soccer referee, as a classroom teacher, and also at a daycare working with children ages 2-5. With a plethora of interests including sports, music, and a love of the outdoors, I would be happy to bring enjoyable and unique play time activities to your children!

My daughter LOVES her so much and she has so many awesome ideas and activities that I’m even learning a few tricks of my own! I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to work with Sonia and proud that my little gets a chance to grow with her. If there is a need for an intelligent and hardworking sitter in your child’s life then Sonia would be a perfect fit. All the care and even some bonus extras just because she has situational awareness (you can’t train that!) that comes from experience. We will be using her skills whenever possible moving forward :)
