About Sommer

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, and positive! I like working with kids because I love helping them grow and learn! They are so incredibly smart and it is a joy to watch them learn to navigate the world around them! I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility in scheduling. I have lots of weekday availability! I started working seriously with kids when I began performing at birthday parties. I babysat in high school for a family of 5 and tutored in college. I have since worked childcare on cruise ships while doing performance in the evenings! In my spare time, I like to craft! I also love coming up with fun activities for kids based on their needs. These can range from educational games to playing pretend or outdoor activities! I also enjoy reading and singing! I am very good in emergency situations. I keep a calm head and get things done. I value this and communication greatly and will always do my best to insure that we are on the same page.
